ANDERSEN FARMS
Unlike many of the other local farms in our area, our farm has not been in our family for generations. In fact, we are pretty new at what we do and are learning new things every day.
My husband, Tor Andersen, (not Tom or Thor or Tory... just plain old 3-letter Tor), had always wanted to farm for a living and after getting his college degree he somehow convinced his parents Max & Carla to sell their house in Lafayette and buy a farm in Frankford. Needless to say, his parents are extremely supportive, hard-working people, and we are grateful for their partnership.
Little did I know that marrying my high school sweetheart would lead me to becoming a farmer's wife. Nor did I ever imagine the long hours, busy seasons, four beautiful daughters, ever changing, fulfilling, life that we would lead. But, God is good and we are very grateful for our family, friends, customers, and community!
OUR PRODUCE
All of the fruits and vegetables that we grow on our farm are hand-picked daily so that we can provide our customers with the freshest produce to feed their family.
We also offer our customers locally grown produce, baked goods, jams, salsas, bbq sauces, honey, pickles, and cheeses to give you a wide variety of delicious foods.
Our standards are high. We only offer the best quality products. Isn't it nice to know where your food comes from?
OUR PLANTS
Come check out our "green thumb". We love planting unique combinations of flowers in hanging baskets, deck planters — well, in anything really!
At our garden center, we try to think outside the box and offer our customers a beautiful variety of flowers to make your home look amazing.
We have a wide selection of perennials, annuals, shrubs, garden supplies, soils, mulch, home decor and gifts.
